A Local Tradition Since 1996

Longtime Hopatcong resident and owner Lynne St. Angelo has grown Needles & Pins from a spare room in her home into a beloved neighborhood shop. She and her team handle jobs of all sizes—from minor repairs to heavy leather—and are known for their expertise in clothing construction and creative solutions for even the quirkiest repairs.

  • Can you repair, alter, or create [item]?
    Most likely—yes! We have the machines and expertise to work with everything from bridal gowns to business wear, even leather. It’s rare that we come across something we can’t sew!

  •  How long will my repair/order take?
    ​Turnaround times depend on the complexity of your project and how busy we are. Most repairs take about a week. Formalwear, custom work, and extensive repairs take longer. If you need special occasion alterations, bring your item in at least two weeks before pickup. Rush service is available for an additional fee. We’ll provide a pickup date when you drop off your project. 

  • Do I need an appointment?
    Nope! Walk-ins are always welcome.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    Cash, debit or credit card.

  • Can you steam or press my item?
    ​We don’t offer steaming, cleaning, or pressing, but we’re happy to recommend local dry cleaners who can help!
